The first kindergarten in Huangdao District was established in 1990 and is one of the top ten kindergartens in Shandong Province.

The new park building in Nancheng District was constructed using a lightweight steel prefabricated building system from Elephant House, and was completed in 2015 with a construction area of over 8000 square meters. This project is currently the largest single light steel school building in China, and has won the first "Golden Swift Award" for light steel prefabricated buildings.
